Installation



Installation process of the precompiled binary is leads to setup environment variables.
STARTUP$LIGHTTPD.COM provides it. Call this command procedure before using LightHTTPD-VMS:
$@STARTUP$LIGHTTPD

Anywere, it is useful to include it into system startup procedure or user LOGIN.COM

There are several procedures to control LIGHTTPD server:
$@LIGHTTPD_BIN:LIGHTTPD$START
It starts LightHTTPD daemon.

$@LIGHTTPD_BIN:LIGHTTPD$STOP
Stops LightHTTPD-VMS daemon.

Configuration file can be accessed via LIGHTTPD$ETC:LIGHTTPD.CONF

Logs are accumulated in LIGHTTPD$LOG: logical device.
Errors and successes can be obscured any time server working via
$TYPE/TAIL LIGHTTPD$LOG:LIGHTTPD_ERROR.LOG
for example.
